Sat in my bedroom... bored

I dragged my 'mini' suitcase (one for weekends and sleepovers) along the pavement toward Kayla's house. I was basically bouncing as I walked. It was the first proper sleepover since Kayla had woken up and there was so much to talk about. Like Joe.. for example.
I walked the last few meters and rang the doorbell. I waited patienly, even though before the coma, I'd just walked in whenever I wanted to. It reminded me of one of those cheesy programmes. 'Honey, I'm home!'.

I jumped a little when the door opened less than a second after I rang the doorbell. "Kayla!" I smiled. "Where were you? Waiting behind the door?"I laughed a little and pulled out my phone.
"Photo op!" I hit the camera button the the side and aimed it at Kayla. "Yes, it's going to be like this all weekend."

"Oh," I laughed, taking the picture. "Am I invited in or..?" I smiled sweetly at her.

I giggled. "Thankin' you." I walked in through her front door and into her warm house. I was glad. It was winter in York and it was cold. Very cold.

I laughed at her excitement. "Sure, I'd love to see it." I dumped my bag and waited to follow her. I looked around the hallway, it hadn't changed much since the last time I'd seen it.

I led her up the staires and to my room and threw myself onto my bed, smiling.

I followed and looked around Kayla's newly decorated bedroom. "Awesome!" I threw myself onto her bed next to her and stared at the ceiling.

I smiled and pressed the play button on the remote, not a suprise at all, it was already in and at the start.

I giggled. She really was obsessed. I relaxed and crossed my legs. I peeked over at Kayla and then back at the TV.

I laughed and rolled my eyes. "It was ai'it." I didn't understand the hype but it wasn't a bad film.

I smiled and turned on the bed to face her. "So..." A grin spread across my face.

I sighed, we would continue this later. "So, what's for dinner, Kayla?" I asked, smiling and sliding off the bed.
