Stood by the lockers...

I was stood staring pointlessly into my locker, wishing there was something good to pull out of it to keep me occupied. I sighed and pulled out 'Untamed' and started to read it, loosing track of everything around me.

"Kayla!" Lily giggled in a sing-song voice, wandering over to her and seeing her read Untamed. "Really? You're reading that again?"

"It's my first time, and hey-" I said and then was cut off by Lucy who came up to her locker babbling something at us.

"Move" I said as I wandered toward my locker, seeing Lily and Kayla stood in front of it.

I was going to disagree and tell her she'd been reading it (or something with a similar name) before she lost her memory but then Lucy spoke.
I moved away from Lucy's locker and tugged Kayla along by the elbow, too. We only moved a few inches but it was enough.

I sighed, "We shouldn't let her tell us what to do" I mumbled under my breath, before moving back infront of my locker pulling Lily with me.

"You wanna say that again?" I said, annoyed. I turned to face them, while shoving my books in my locker.

"Kayla!" I half-hissed, moving us both away. I watched Lucy and her threatening ways out of the corner of my eye, but I watched Kayla with a look that said 'Are you out of your mind?!'

I winked at Lily before turning to Lucy and saying, "Yeh, I said 'We shouldn't let her tell us what to do'" I mimicked and smiled at her.

"Don't start getting clever with me because believe me you'll be put back into that coma by my fist." I replied, angrily.

I tugged on Kayla's wrist uselessly. I wasn't afraid of Lucy, but she had power, y'know? If she wanted, she could turn the whole school against you.
My head snapped to look at Lucy when she threatened Kayla. I smiled a little. "But then who would go to the spotlight with Joe?" I wasn't sure if Lucy was aware or not, but ah well.

I growled angrily. "I'd shut it if I were you." I hissed at Lily. I didn't like Lily, she was trying to find out about me and the others and no way was I gonna let that happen. When she started getting to close to the truth I'd kill her, simple as. But until then I had to wait it out, hoping.

I glared and I'm sure I heard a growl slip out of my throat. "Hey! don't tell her what to do!" I squeaked.

"Who's gonna make me?" I shot back, ignoring Kayla, using a come-back that was so old, it was cool when Hitler was around.

"No one" I answered and saw someone move out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head and saw Joe coming this way.

I was about to punch them both, then I realized my eyes were about to go red again. I turned around automatically, then heard Joe heading this way. I daren't turn around because one, I'd punch them both. Two, they'd see my eyes.

I noticed Joe a half-second after Kayla did. I small smile spread across my face again as Lucy turned around.
Ha. Not so big now, are we?

"Hah!" I mumbled under my breath, just low enough that Joe couldn't hear me. "Hey joe!" I called smiling and then turning and smiling at Lucy.

I rolled my eyes and leaned into my locker, my hands fumbling around for another pair of contacts. I quickly slid them in just in time for when Joe reached us.

I watched Lucy fidget with something in her locker, frowning. I wondered what she was doing but when I saw her face, nothing had changed.

I sighed, "You must have pretty bad eye sight if you need to keep putting more contacts in" I said when Lucy turned around.

I looked at Lucy's eyes and away, toward Joe and then Kayla. I stayed silent this time.

I raised my eyebrows, Kayla was half vampire I knew that. She was becoming more aware of it that was something I also knew. Joe looked at me, probably thinking why'd I'd let her see me putting them in. 'I did't deliberatly, she's getting too close to finding out what she is...' I thought, knowing he could read my mind. His power also let him project his thoughts into my head. 'That's not such a bad thing, she can stop Lily from finding out too much.' He replied. He didn't have any idea that I planned to kill Lily, but he seemed to know that, that was an idea.

I stayed silent staring at Lucy then Joe then Lily, then back to Lucy.

I looked at Lucy suspiciously. Then at Joe. They seemed to be sharing something, like they knew what the other was thinking. Obviously, I just had an overactive imagination, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something I was missing.
